For director Aditya Dhar, the film delivers his biggest-ever single day, beating the peak numbers of Uri: The Surgical Strike. The action drama has also registered the third-highest Saturday of 2025 and has already become Ranveer’s third-highest post-pandemic grosser in just 48 hours, racing past Cirkus and Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Additionally, it has broken into the top 10 opening weekends of 2025 even before Sunday numbers arrive. Mounted on a reported Rs 250-crore budget, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh as an undercover Indian operative navigating the dangerous alleys of Lyari. The ensemble includes Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan. With its commercial success and positive buzz, the film now eyes the Rs 150-crore global milestone by the end of its first weekend.
